Liverpool vs Chelsea: What has been said?
Liverpool midfielder James Milner: “I think [it’s] very important – I think you want to get in that habit of winning trophies.
“I think the Super Cup’s a special trophy to win because you’ve got to win a big trophy to get there as well, so I think it’s important.
“I think it’s a good way to start the season if you can win a trophy and it’s more silverware for the club if you can do that.”
Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta: “Chelsea always fights for everything so when we don’t win then we know there will be more and more questions around us but we have to cope with it,’ added the defender.
“We have to learn, we know that we can improve and we have to take our responsibilities.
“There is a trophy to fight for on Wednesday against a good team so we have to be ready for it.”

Newly-signed back-up goalkeeper Adrian is set to make his first start, while Andy Lonergan, another recently acquired goalkeeper, has also been included in the 23-man squad.
Dejan Lovren is conspicuous by his absence as talk of a move to Roma rumbles on and Nathaniel Clyne is also a long-term injury absentee for the Reds.
For Chelsea, N’Golo Kante could feature as he continues his recovery from injury.
The Blues should also have Antonio Rudiger and Willian back but Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi are both out with Achilles injuries.
